🌊 Passage Row: Dornie to Kyleakin – 17th Feb 2025 πŸš£β€β™€οΈ

What a fantastic time out on the water today! Our crew successfully tackled the Dornie Pier to Kyleakin Pier route, switching up seats and coxing along the way. A true team effort! πŸ’ͺ πŸ›Ά We set off with the ebb tide on our side, gliding through Loch Alsh. It was crisp and cloudy but dry, with a light easterly breeze (5-7mph)β€”just enough to keep us on our toes! 🌿 Plenty of wildlife highlights – porpoises, seals and loads of seabirds kept us company along the way. πŸ¬πŸ¦πŸ¦… Smooth waters past Balmacara made for easy rowing, so we stopped on the bay for a quick refuel 🍽️ took in the stunning views, and enjoyed the perfectly calm waters before powering on to Kyleakin half an hour before schedule. πŸ†πŸš£β€β™‚οΈπŸ’™
