What a fantastic time out on the water today! Our crew successfully tackled the Dornie Pier to Kyleakin Pier route, switching up seats and coxing along the way. A true team effort! πͺ πΆ We set off with the ebb tide on our side, gliding through Loch Alsh. It was crisp and cloudy but dry, with a light easterly breeze (5-7mph)βjust enough to keep us on our toes! πΏ Plenty of wildlife highlights – porpoises, seals and loads of seabirds kept us company along the way. π¬π¦π¦ Smooth waters past Balmacara made for easy rowing, so we stopped on the bay for a quick refuel π½οΈ took in the stunning views, and enjoyed the perfectly calm waters before powering on to Kyleakin half an hour before schedule. ππ£ββοΈπ
