Strathpeffer Regatta – Bronze for Our Small but Mighty Team!

We had a fabulous day at the Strathpeffer and District Community Rowing Club regatta yesterday (23rd August 2025) – with their excellent hospitality (as always!) and a wonderful opportunity to catch up with fellow rowers from clubs near and far.

With only a small team travelling, we were especially grateful to Strathpeffer for filling a couple of seats in Saucy Mary so that we could take part in some of the races. Despite our numbers, we’re thrilled to bring home a bronze medal in the Novice race 🎉

A huge congratulations to Rebecca, who not only came along to her very first regatta but also came home a medal winner 🥉 What an incredible debut – and a perfect example of the fun, supportive, and rewarding spirit of coastal rowing.

It was a wonderful day of rowing, racing, and community spirit, and we can’t wait for our next one at Cromarty next weekend.

👉 If you’ve ever thought about giving rowing a try – whether for fitness, fun, or friendly competition – now is a great time to join us. No experience needed, just enthusiasm and a love of being on the water!
