As 2025 draws to a close, a few of our members have been making the most of some last-minute rowing in truly stunning conditions. We headed out from Plockton into the deep waters of Kishorn, hoping to spot the humpback whales that have recently been seen in the area.
We were absolutely delighted to be rewarded with a sighting. Sadly, we were far too awestruck by such a magnificent creature to even think about taking a photograph! We did, however, manage to capture plenty of images of the dolphins—and there were many of them. They leapt joyfully out of the water as we rowed, providing a superb treat and a magical end to the year. ✨
What a wonderful way to close out 2025, before welcoming 2026 with more rowing adventures in this beautiful and wildlife-rich area we are so lucky to call home.
